Hackathon: Smart Warehouse Challenge 2023, where innovation meets the challenges of today's bustling warehouse environments head-on. In this exhilarating competition, we dive into the fascinating realm of intelligent warehousing, where the fusion of cutting-edge machine learning and computer vision techniques promises to revolutionize the way we manage, monitor, and optimize operations within these critical hubs of modern commerce. 

In this competition, we invite you to rise to the occasion, by tracking the objects (Thaibev products) that are being carried around by forklifts in warehouses.

HOW TO JOIN

Register with your team members; after registration, a confirmation email will be sent to the email you used to register. Maximum of one email per team. You will receive the dataset access and competition question after your registration.

October 24  - November 7, 2023

November 8 - November 15, 2023

Contestants must submit the solutions based on the task given. Contestants must focus on the Smart Warehouse domain.



November 22, 2023

The top three teams with the highest score will be named the winners, but to receive the awards, between November 8 - November 15, 2023, the teams will also be required to submit the prototype source code as proof of the submitted solutions.


December 7, 2023

The winning teams will get a certificate and the “Hackathon: Smart Warehouse 2023” trophy at CMKL University Tech Summit Event.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rules

- For the duration of the Smart Warehouse Hackathon, you may use the Warehouse dataset solely for the purpose of the hackathon, which includes training machine learning models and analyzing the WAREHOUSE DATASET and results.

- Upon the conclusion of the Smart Warehouse Hackathon, you may use the Warehouse dataset, including models developed using the Warehouse dataset, for non-commercial, academic purposes only.

- Teams are NOT allowed to use any external data for either training or validation. The winning teams are required to submit their codes for verification before the submission deadline. 

Registration Process

All participants must form a team and apply to the hackathon challenge by completing the designated application form through this Link

Objective

The objective of the hackathon challenge is to develop innovative solutions within the given timeframe. The time with the highest scores at the end of the competition will be declared the winner. The scores are published on the scoreboard. 

Eligibility

Participation: The hackathon challenge is open to teams of up to six members. 

Age Requirements: Participants must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the hackathon challenge.

Code of Conduct

Respectful Behavior: Participants must treat each other, the organizers, and any other individuals involved with respect and courtesy. 

Compliance: Participants must adhere to all applicable rules and regulations during the Hackathon Challenge.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Account at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including, but not limited to, violation of these terms or any applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CMKL University and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in Hackathon: Smart Warehouse Challenge 2023 or these terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
